Saitek X52 Throttle Precision Slider: Programming for IL-2

I'm trying to figure out how to map the throttle precision slider to the "Increase FOV [" & Decrease FOV ]" functions (i.e., zooming in and out in IL-2).

I tried using bands but without much luck. Has anyone done this successfully? Any help would be much appreciated!
