In my haste to pretend I was whitty, I forgot to include a very important point about playing this game online. In most game forums, this isn't even considered worth saying because it is a risk anytime you connect to the internet, much less for gaming purposes. However, flight sims can attract old and decrepid types (that's me man!) who don't even understand the basics of PC security. Added to this is the severe temptation to take a bit of load off of the CPU while playing this game by stopping security/software firewall/antivirus programming. This is a very bad idea. Please don't listen to the 'tards that say they do it without trouble. Most malware today simply wants to use your computer as a jump 'n dump. So while cheating by the host or anyone else is not possible, plain ole hacking of your system and tegular virus passings happen all the time.
No biggy, just keep the security programming going when you are online. In fact, keep it going when offline. What if you extract something and it springs to life?
