Hi Friends

** Edit add spanish language letter

Following the suggestion of several readers of our forums, here a word which we will send to Mr. Maddox accompanied by the maximum of names for to simply saying him that we appreciate his work and deplore the sad rumours which currently circulate. This it is necessary of it to be conscious will undoubtedly not be real heavy argument in a possible decision. But we think that it should at least be meant that many the users of IL2 and continuation appreciate work and one not have for creed systematic criticism.

Open Letter to Mr Maddox

Mister,

The signatories of this letter, would like to testify to you by the present one, their recognition for the work which you completed since IL2 Sturmovik until Pacific Fighters.

We regret like, the quiet majority of players, the ceaseless reproaches coming from players never satisfied who use with great noise the various forums placed at their disposal through our virtual world.

We are not in video game commercial red ochres and we don’ know anything of the problems, which can shake this world. We still hope to see tomorrow products signed Oleg Maddox in the field of the simulation of aerial combat.

However we are a great majority appreciating what is for us the best WWII simulator never carried out. We understand that it is a work which asks each moment attention and that the smallest modification have a real influence on other elements of the program.

It would be false to say that all is always at 100% accurate or efficient. But support and goodwill expressed by you and your team are undoubtedly the best asset of the series of the flight simulators than you allowed us to use.

For every hour spend to fly best airplanes of the second world war, and in name of all the signatories of this document and beyond much of still quiet majority fans.

We wish to say you:

Thank you Mr. Maddox
You have our support and we hope that these some words will be a small compensation taking into consideration all objection which you could read.
Whe hope in the future, we will still be pleased to fly virtually in simulator signed:
Oleg Maddox.

We are numerous to think even if we are not too present in forums to say it, you brought much to aerial combat simulation and we hope that it will be thus for still a long time.

Leadspitter, I think oleg knows we all appreciate his teams hard work on the product as well as his own. I dont know what flightsim since 1984 that did not have arguements from players about flightmodels. So thats nothing new but no one pays attention to them like oleg ilya and the 1c team. They also have made the best efforts at anti cheat no other game company does these days. Punk Buster is a sad excuse for anti cheating and does not work.

That being said thanks alot to the countless hours of flying this sim the and the whole il2 series and hope you keep improving and making new flightsims becuase no other companies out there are even attempting to top you and I dont think they ever will with the ammount of content you have.

I enjoyed all the other flight sims down the line and each and everyone has its own good and bad things but il2 series will definatly go down in my book as one of the best with the most well made content.

Thanks!

We will try to keep high level of development in future. However it depending not only becasue of our work, but also because of the time and investment for the development. As more we are going forward - more expencive and more harder the work became... Thats its a pitty, but we really need much more time for any new sim, especially planned new series beginning from BoB.

S! Oleg and Team..

This is truly the Best Flight Sim ever...a dream come true for a boy born during WWII who grew up with WWII aviation as a hobby, starting with 5 cent ($.05)balsa wood models/toys which you threw into the air, learning about aerilons by bending/cutting them into the balsa wood wings...

I also have all four products and look forward to the BofB Series next year... I'm planning to build my new "Rig" in January specifically in order to "fly" PF and FB in Perfect mode, and mainly in anticipation of BofB...Many Dollars for a cutting edge system, but worth it Just to enjoy Oleg's flight sims...

Thanks Oleg, you and your team are doing a great job, as a boy during WWII, I saw a lot of the U.S. A/C first hand, and at wars end saw capyured Axis A/C on display. My Uncle took me thru the " Memphis Belle" after the war when she was at the Fairgrounds in Memphis, Tn. before she was put on pedestals at the Armory grounds, and spent many years there in all kinds of weather. She has since been restored, and has her own pavillion for future generations to visit. Again, thanks for your devotion to detail, and the long hours spent making this series of sims possible. Puts
