The .exe and 1946?

Hello
I have installed IL2 Mat manager ,it works awesome, I installed it to my IL2 1946.

My troubles are that I had to rename the IL2FB.exe to IL2.exe in order to get the Mat Manager to work with my 1946 install.

Now I have trouble getting HyperLobby to search and find my IL2.exe.
It just won't do it,the only way I have been able to play on HL is to rename my IL2.exe ....Back to IL2FB.exe

and then in order to use the Mat manager I must rename the IL2FB.exe back to IL2.exe.

I'm confused .............

Any and all help appreciated and thank you for the wonderfull program ,
I 've used it since I started playing IL2,and I truly like the look it gives my game.

I've poured over the threads in the forums but couldn't find any solution.

IL2FB.exe and IL2.exe are identical, just have a copy of both, hope this helps

I had the same problem. I placed the copy of IL2FB.exe in the game folder along with IL2.exe and HyperLobby will not find IL2FB.exe when I try to join a game.

I had that too on hyper Mailman.
I solved it by clicking Ctrl+Shift connect' (button) and instead of letting hyper search for the exe I entered the complete path+ il2fb.exe in the provided filename editbox by hand - then it worked
Make sure you enter the correct Ubisoft or Ubi Soft (with/without a space depending on the game...
p.s. I have both il2.exe and il2fb.exe in my 46 directory (both the same exe - only copied/renamed it once lol).
