Civilization III and IV

I thought the civilization series was the most addictive line of video games out there until my son gave me IL-2 for Christmas. I'm not sure if I should thank him or not. I've always loved flight and have found previous combat flight sims boring after a while becaause of the unrealistic flight models. IL-2/PF may be too realistic. I'm frustrated but definitely not bored
