Skin Problem When Changing Skins in QMT

Ocassionally when I go into the QMT and change skins then re-open the mission in the FMB the skins have reverted to "Default". However when playing the mission the skins chosen in the QMT appear.
I have heard that there is some sort of case protocol with QMT and the skins? Or is there something else I should be doing?
