G2 manual and map and keycard for BoB2

Why is G2 sending out printed manuals and maps and keycards? Is this for people who lost theirs? Is it beneficial to me to have their version? Is it free? Whats up ?

In the UK Release the manual was in pdf format on the disc. The map and keycard were so small that the text on them was unreadable. The WOV community demanded replacements and soon after got a rather good manual sent to them, free of charge.
I believe the game was shipped with a decent manual in the U.S. release.
