Aircraft Data

Postby EURO_Snoopy on Sun Jul 10, 2005 11:21 am

While browsing the Wikipedia I came across a reference to IL-2 Sturmovik http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IL-2_Sturmovik_%28game%29
On this page were links to pages with data for aircraft in the game.

For example the ME109 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Bf_109

As part of our manual we could link to these pages to provide real world data for aircraft, while still writing our own game related material. The same could be done for game objects, such as artillery, ships etc.

Aircraft Data placemarkers

This is a template I'm putting forward to be used on all Aircraft data pages.

I need to know if there are any more ideas out there for these pages before I edit all the aircraft!

Awesome snoopy. I dont see anything wrong with that.

Keep it simple at first and it will make it easier to provide information for a greater range of aircraft more quickly.

If more features or improvements come up they could be added afterwards to the aircraft data sections.

Cheer, I'm a Wiki'D Guy; thanks Snoopy.

And oh yeah, I've now got broadband so I should be able to devote more time to this manual; unless other things side-track me. Hopefully not too much.
